South Carolina is one of the few states that has not expanded Medicaid. Below is a brief synopsis of each bill. This bill was signed into law in March 2023.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services investigates these cases and prioritizes protecting patients. The individuals charged ranged in positions from medical company executives to medical professionals.
