The new Celayix Manager App is your ultimate tool for managing schedules and employees on the go. Here at Celayix, we understand that modern managers are not always at their desk. We’ve designed our schedule Manger App with that in mind – giving them total access to their schedule and the ability to make any changes while on-the-go!

Who is the Celayix Manager App for?

Our Manager App is designed solely for Administrators with existing Celayix Employee Scheduling accounts. We have a seperate app for Employees – our Employee Mobile App, which allows them to view their schedule, check in and out of shifts, and pick up/drop shifts.

Admins with existing Celayix accounts can use the Manager App to manage schedules and shifts on the go, in real time.

Main Features of Celayix Manager App

So, why should you download the Celayix Manager App? Let’s look at some of the core features that will making working on the road far easier!

24/7 Schedule Access:

Manager App Shift OverviewAnytime, anywhere access ensures that you are always informed about your workforce schedule, making it easier to make adjustments in real-time. View shifts at a glance that include all key information including start and finish times, employee names, customer names, site information and service information. From one screen on your phone, you have full visibility over what’s going on, and where.

One of the most useful features of the Shift section is the Search function. You can search by name, site name, service, or even for Open shifts. Along with searching you can also filter the shifts you see based on sites or services. This is great if you want to capture a snapshot of the schedule for a particular customer site or service.

Efficient Shift Management:

Following on from the search feature, the mobile Manager App allows you to efficiently manage shifts – whether that’s to switch employees, adjust hours, or move it to a completely different date.

When it comes to swapping employees for a particular shift, you can use the Shift Actions button to edit the shift and change the employee manually, or use the Find Replacement feature. If you choose to use the Find Replacement tool, you will be given the option to select the search criteria. You can search for; Schedule Manager App Find Replacement Criteria

  • All employees
  • Available employees (driven by our availability feature from the Employee App)
  • No Overtime (search for employees who won’t go into OT with this shift)
  • No OT, Available
  • No OT, Qualified
  • No OT, Qualified, Available
  • Qualified
  • Qualified Available

Once you enter your search criteria, you will see a list of employees who meet it. Simply choose an employee, and update the shift! The employee will then be notified through their mobile app of the change to their work schedule.

Employee Communication:

When you view a shift, you will be able to access the assign employee’s information, including their email address and phone number – as long as they were provided at the time of employee onboarding.

Directly from the App, you can select their email address to email them, or select their phone number to call them. With improved employee communication processes you are less likely to have no-shows or other issues!

Real-Time Updates and Validations: Manager App Validation Error

One of the major benefits of any employee scheduling tool is the ability to reduce errors. The same can be said for the Manager App. Any time you make a change to the schedule, you’ll be alerted if you happen to edit a shift that causes conflicts.

If you assign an underqualified employee to a shift that requires a particular qualification, you’ll be notified. If you assign a shift that sends someone into overtime, you’ll be asked if you’re sure before assigning it!
