Announcing The Nurse Theorists “Portraits of Excellence” FITNE Videos on Nursology.net!

We are very pleased to notify all Nursology.net visitors that the entire three volumes of “The Nurse Theorists: Portraits of Excellence” are now available on our website. The videos are available for viewing by those who access nursology.net, Downloading is not allowed due to our licensing agreement with the Fuld Institute for Technology in Nursing Education (FITNE, Inc.), who sold the rights to the videos to nursology.net before the company went out of business at the end of 2023. However the videos are freely available to view from Nursology.net, or from the NursologyNet YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@NursologyNet). The purchase was made possible by the generous donations of our donors.

Volume 3 features nurse theorists Elizabeth Ann Manhart Barrett, Cheryl Beck, Marilyn Dee Ray, Kathy Kolcaba, Savina Schoenhofer, and Marilyn McFarland discussing Madeline Leiningers, Madeleine Leininger’s theory video is also part of Volume 1. In addition, three videos comprising “The Nurse Theorists: Excellence in Action” series feature the application of the theories of Patricia Benner, Dorothea Orem, and Callista Roy.

Jacqueline Fawcett and Martha Alligood have provided an historical context by contributing their remembrances of how videos came to be made and where each one was filmed.
