Reading has been a lifelong love affair; to be literate and read for pleasure, school, or work has been a wonderful gift. I have a list of books I read and intend to read that many of you may find interesting; topics range from leadership, life view, controversy, and lifestyle. Also, some amazing fiction that entertained and made me ponder is included. Though they help us understand some of our present world, it’s not complete by any stretch. I know there are a lot of male authors, and I certainly appreciate the female voice; as the list grew, I realized my bookshelf needed a peek to find those gems. Enjoy and namaste!

I love reading too Paula. I always have a couple of books on the go. I am a member of 2 book clubs and am reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt and No Great Mischief by Alistair McCleod now for book clubs.
I read mostly fiction but like to read fiction by writers with differing life experiences than mine to broaden my understanding of the world.
Omar Al Akkad’s book What Strange Paradise helps me understand the terrifying refugee experience . Isabel Wilkerson’s great non fiction book The Warmth of Other Suns expands my knowledge of Black experience and migration in America.
Just received American Dirt an ebook from library about a Mexican fleeing persecution and coming to United States.
