Columbus-based the Ohio State University appointed Karen Rose, PhD, as its next dean of the college of nursing.
Pending approval from the board of trustees, Dr. Rose will step into her role July 1, according to a March 28 university news release. She currently serves as the college's vice dean and is a tenured professor.
In her role, Dr. Rose will work toward the college's goals of enhanced scholarship, promoting research and community-engaged scholarship and educating nursing leaders.
